With support from the Newquay Carnival, Newquay Lions and Towan Blystra Lions, Blystra Arts ran several creative sessions in primary schools and in the community at Nansledan Arts Festival ahead of the 2025 Newquay Carnival.
The Blystra team made giant jellyfish umbrellas across the whole community and then invited people to parade with them together at the Carnival on the 5th July 2025. The theme of the carnival was: Surf, Sea and Going Green.
